Calvin Ridley Scores Twice Against Tampa Bay
12 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in six receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns against Tampa on Sunday evening. The high target volume finally turned into fantasy production for the 28-year-old wideout, with Ridley putting up his fifth top-10 weekly finish on the season. He was actually held to zero catches and one rush for -12 yards in the first half, but was able to find some holes in the exploitable Bucs secondary after the intermission. Ridley was the king of garbage time which was virtually the entire second half for the Bucs, catching an 18-yard touchdown from Trevor Lawrence and a one yard pass from backup C.J. Beathard who played the whole fourth quarter. The former first-round pick was also second on the team with nine targets, giving him an NFL-leading 34 in his past three games. Ridley will look to follow up his great performance against Carolina in Week 17.
