Cal Raleigh Has Been Playing Through Injury
Cal Raleigh (thumb) has been battling through an injury down the stretch of the season. The 25-year-old revealed that he has been playing through broken left thumb and torn ligament in his left hand for over a month. The Mariners were eliminated on Saturday, so Raleigh will have the entire offseason to recover from this injury. He slashed .211/.284/.489 with 27 home runs and 63 RBI in 415 plate appearances this season. Raleigh looks like he's going to be the catcher for the Mariners for the foreseeable future.
