Cade Otton Not An Option For Week 17
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton has struggled to find the football and the end zone in recent weeks. In Sunday's 19-16 overtime win against the Cardinals, the rookie had only two receptions for twelve yards. Although he did see a healthy seven targets from quarterback Tom Brady, he continues to be inconsistent and unreliable while offering little fantasy value. On the season, the 23-year-old has caught 39 passes for 369 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 17, the Buccaneers face a Panthers defense that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the tight end position. Otton should be considered a desperation option only heading into championship weekend.
