6 months agoMinnesota Twins first baseman C.J. Cron went 1-for-2 with two walks and a three-run homer in a 7-4 win over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday. Cron launched a three-run shot off Detroit left-hander Matthew Boyd in the fourth inning, giving him 21 homers on the season. The big slugger got off to a fast start this season but that was just his third home run in the month of August. Overall, Cron is hitting .257 with the 21 homers, 44 runs, and 68 RBI. His recent slow spell has rendered him as more of an option in American League-only formats.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
