Former Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears wide receiver Byron Pringle has agreed to a one-year deal to join the Washington Commanders just before training camp is set to begin. Pringle enjoyed his best season in 2021, catching 42 passes for 568 yards and five touchdowns with Eric Bieniemy as offensive coordinator. The previous relationship and familiarity won't hurt, but Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, and Jahan Dotson will remain firmly ahead of him on the wide receiver depth chart.
