Byron Marshall Ineffective Thus Far In Preseason

Washington Redskins running back Byron Marshall entered 2019 training camp vying for the fourth slot on the depth chart. In two preseason games, he has carried the ball six times for 19 total yards. He did add an 11-yard reception to his tally in Thursday's contest, but his output is not indicative of a player running away with a roster spot. There figures to be minimal fantasy value from Marshall even if he were to earn the reserve RB role in Washington, as Adrian Peterson and Derrius Guice are the clear top options. This backfield is best left alone in almost any fantasy format after Peterson and Guice.
