Buccaneers D/ST Looks Avoidable For Week 2
3 months agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense was expected to do much better during the season opener against the Washington Commanders. This unit ranked 10th in terms of fantasy production last season, but had plenty of issues in the opener. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels rushed all over the field for 88 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't have too much success through the air, which is the Bucs biggest weakness on defense. The Bucs now head into a road matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. Quarterback Jared Goff didn't have a great start to the season, but has enough passing weapons to do damage against the Bucs defense. This is looking like possible shootout which isn't good news for either defense. The Bucs defense will likely do the same if not worse in Week 2.
