Bubba Wallace had the setup and the push late to win the Daytona 500. He simply ran out of time as he tried to bump draft Austin Cindric. The 23XI Racing driver had a great car all day and was in a prime spot in the 16th position to start. By late in the race, it was apparent the No. 23 car would be in it to win it. He even led a dozen laps earlier. One could see in Wallace's face afterwards just how close he was. Two turns before on the last lap, the driver had a chance close in on him. The next turn was the wreck everyone saw. It was indeed "a gut punch" as Wallace expressed. A win was there. A second was the result. --Chris Wassel - RotoBallerRead More News
