Bryce Johnson Activated And Optioned To Triple-A
2 years agoThe San Francisco Giants activated outfielder Bryce Johnson (concussion) from the seven-day concussion injured list on Monday and optioned him to Triple-A Sacramento. Johnson played in two minor-league rehab games over the weekend and is now ready to return to action on the farm after being placed on the injured list on April 14. The 27-year-old will return to Sacramento now that Austin Slater is also back from the injured list. Johnson had only played in 10 games before suffering a concussion, going 3-for-20 (.150) with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored for the Gigantes. He figures to stay in the minor leagues until San Francisco has another need in the outfield.
