Bryan Edwards 2020 Outlook: Edwards Will Start For Las Vegas
5 years agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Bryan Edwards was a highly touted prospect coming out of South Carolina in 2020, but injuries throughout his college career, and leading up to the NFL Draft helped push him into the third round. Now that incumbent X-receiver Tyrell Williams is officially on injured reserve, Edwards will fill that void in the starting lineup. While the Raiders did select Henry Ruggs III before Edwards in the NFL draft, he profiles more as a Z or slot receiver and will fill a different role than Edwards. Shortly after the NFL draft, Edwards' ADP hovered around 277, but within the last week, his ADP has risen to about 163rd overall as the 65th wide receiver off the board. Edwards is going in drafts right around players like Parris Campbell, Robby Anderson, Curtis Samuel and Randall Cobb. Between all of those receivers, Edwards has the best chance to put up consistent production as the Raiders X-receiver and is well worth the selection at his ADP.
