Bruce Irvin Returning To Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks agreed to an undisclosed deal with defensive end Bruce Irvin on Wednesday, according to a source. The Seahawks took Irvin 15th overall in the first round back in 2012. He spent the first four seasons of his career in Seattle before making stops with the Raiders, Falcons and Panthers. Last year in 13 games (12 starts) for Carolina, Irvin had a career-high 8.5 sacks, 36 tackles (22 solo), eight tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He'll help pick up the pass-rushing slack if the team is unable to re-sign Jadeveon Clowney. Turning 33 in November, Irvin is unlikely to move the needle much in IDP formats.
