Broncos Defense Embarrassed In Week 6
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense isn't finding things as easy as they did in the first three weeks against weaker competition. Falling to 3-3 on the year, they allowed 34 points in the Week 6 loss to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders at home. Denver's D wasn't able to take advantage of a shaky and beat up offensive line and continued to get burnt deep in the secondary. On top of all of that, they generated only two sacks on quarterback Derek Carr and failed to force a single turnover. It's become apparent that the Broncos defense isn't an elite unit against solid competition, but they'll have streaming appeal on Thursday night against a Cleveland Browns team that could be without both of their starting running backs. For the Broncos D to return to fantasy relevance, they need to start generating more turnovers.
