2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy completed 25-of-37 passes for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in relief of Jimmy Garoppolo in the Niners' 33-17 win over the Miami Dolphins. Purdy stepped in after the 49ers' starter broke his foot in the first quarter. Garoppolo will have season-ending surgery, so it is Purdy could remain the starter if the Niners don't explore free agency options. Unfortunately, he might not be productive enough to make a fantasy impact. He was only averaging 5.7 yards per pass, and he was sacked three times. But given the weapons he has to work with, he could have some multi-touchdown games and some high-yardage games if he continues to start.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
