1 year agoNew York Islanders center Brock Nelson failed to score in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers despite matching his career-high with 10 shots on goal. He saw four further attempts miss the net as the Islanders failed to end their losing skid. Nelson has struggled badly during the team's losing streak, posting only one point in five games. However, he has remained the team's top goal-scorer with six markers. Playing as the second-line center, Nelson has also tallied two assists in 14 appearances.
