Brock Holt Day-to-Day With Hamstring Injury

Boston Red Sox utilityman Brock Holt was forced to leave in the fourth inning of Sunday's game with a hamstring injury. He’s been listed as day-to-day by manager Alex Cora. "It just had a little tightness. It wasn't anything where I was worried about it," said Holt post-game. Last season, Holt found himself on the injured list with a hamstring strain but it appears this occurrence isn't as severe. The veteran has been a big part of Boston's lineup in June, slashing .390/.441/.508 with a homer, 12 runs batted in, 11 runs scored, and six walks. With Rafael Devers (hamstring) missing a few games over the weekend, the Sox will have to be creative with their lineup if both players continue to miss time. Expect Eduardo Nunez and Marco Hernandez to see increased playing time in the infield, with only Nunez holding value in AL-only formats.
