Vancouver Canucks right wing Brock Boeser looks set to miss the start of the new NHL season with a hand injury. The team has announced that the 25-year-old sniper has to spend three to four weeks on the sidelines. Boeser underwent surgery after injuring himself at the start of training camp last week. The Canucks kick off the new campaign on Oct. 12 against Edmonton, so it seems likely that Boeser will miss the start of the season. It's another bad blow for the injury-prone winger who sat out 11 games last season. Once he's back healthy, Boeser will look to produce a bounce-back season in 2022-23 after settling for 23 goals and 46 points last term.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
