6 months agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitchers Brent Honeywell (elbow) and Jose De Leon (elbow) are both scheduled to throw one inning or 25 pitches in an extended spring game in Florida on Saturday. Both young pitchers could be ready at some point around midseason, but they are both probably just stash candidates in dynasty/keeper formats right now. Honeywell is the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 28 overall, per MLB Pipeline. He's the more attractive arm for the long haul, but De Leon was once himself a decent prospect as well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
