Brendan Steele is in the field for this week's Wells Fargo Championship. Steele heads to North Carolina in the midst of an almost year-long slump and has missed the cut in seven of his 10 starts in 2019. The Californian has struggled in basically every facet of the game, but his biggest woes have been on the greens, as he ranks just 201st on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting this season. If Steele has any reason for hope this week, it's that he's fared well in previous trips to Quail Hollow. He logged a T9 in 2015 and a T14 in 2016 at the Wells Fargo. In his current form, Steele is nothing more than a GPP dart throw.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
