8 months agoAfter a hard fought gritty battle, Brendan Allen was awarded a split decision victory over Chris Curtis in the main event of UFC Vegas 90. Allen was originally matched up with Marvin Vettori, who suffered an injury. Allen entered the bout riding a six-fight winning streak. Five of those wins came by way of submission. After five rounds, the judges scored 48-47, 47-48, 49-46. In 25 minutes of action, Allen landed six takedowns and 112 significant strikes.
