Brayan Bello Pitches Well In Loss, Strikes Out Six
2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Brayan Bello allowed two earned runs and took the loss on Tuesday but struck out six batters over seven innings. Bello had a shaky start to his outing, allowing a leadoff home run. Following the homer, Red Sox manager Alex Cora spoke to Bello on the mound. Bello locked in and finished strong but received no run support from his offense. Bello has gone at least five innings and allowed two earned runs or less in each of his last five starts. Bello has shown the ability to be a reliable ground ball pitcher with strikeout upside, and fantasy managers should be excited to have him in their lineups for his upcoming two-start week against the Cincinnati Reds and the Tampa Bay Rays.
