Braxton Berrios 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Special Teamer With Little Fantasy Value
2 years agoFormer New York Jets wideout Braxton Berrios signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Berrios spent the last four seasons in New York before being cut in March. The 27-year-old wideout has been known more as a special teamer than a wide receiver in his career. He totaled over 1,452 yards in the kick return game over the past two seasons and gained over 30 yards per return in 2021. In the receiving game, Berrios has never been fantasy relevant and has totaled just 107 catches for 1,085 yards and five touchdowns combined in his four NFL seasons. He finished as the WR107 last season, and his best WR finish was 60th in PPR leagues in 2021. With Berrios joining a wideout group of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson Jr., and Chosen Anderson, he should see few offensive snaps in 2023. He'll likely only be fantasy relevant in deeper leagues, even if the Dolphins cut Wilson and he beats out Anderson for the WR3 role. Berrios is ranked 300th overall on RotoBalle with an FFPC ADP of 350.
