Washington Football Team Pro Bowl offensive guard Brandon Scherff (knee) suffered a sprained MCL in the Week 2 loss to the Cardinals that will keep him out for three to five weeks, according to a source. It's actually good news, however, as Washington initially feared that Scherff would miss the rest of the season. Given the franchise tag before the season, he'll hope to return and remain productive as he looks for a long-term contract extension after the season. Scherff's absence will make it tougher for Washington to run the ball, starting in Week 3 against the Browns on the road.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
