Brandon Royval had a very impressive showing on Saturday's main card, locking in the second-round submission victory over a tough opponent in Kai Kara-France. Royval racked up 39 significant strikes (51 total strikes), including a couple of knockdowns in the first round. In the early goings of the second round, Kara-France shot in for the takedown but was caught in a Royval guillotine as they went to the mat. Kara-France was left with no choice but to tap out. That marks two wins by submission in the UFC for Royval, making him 2-0 inside the Octagon. Royval has shown he can finish at the highest level and deserves to be rostered in the future.--Matt Bricker
