6 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (neck) is expected to return from the injured list later this week. He'll need to play consecutive full games in the outfield for Triple-A Syracuse first, which could happen Tuesday and Wednesday. Nimmo burst onto the scene in 2018 and became useful in deep mixed leagues, but injuries have cost him in 2019. The 26-year-old is hitting just .200/.344/.323 with three home runs, 20 runs and 14 RBI in 43 games. Nimmo has been out since May 20 as well, so expect the Mets to ease him back into action in the final month of the season. That means he's not worth paying attention to in mixed leagues the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
