Brandon Lowe Begins Taking Batting Practice
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe (back) has begun taking batting practice and he is "pain-free," according to Rays manager Kevin Cash. However, Cash also added that the team still needs to plan out a rehab calendar for him and that "it's still going to be some time." Lowe has been out since mid-May due to a stress reaction in his lower back. He suffered a setback during his recovery and had been shut down for a little while before resuming baseball activities. We're still without a clear timeline for the 27-year-old, but for now, it's at least good to see that he isn't experiencing pain while swinging.
