1 year agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram will reportedly put extension talks on hold until next summer. He is currently set to enter the fourth season of a five-year, $158.2 million deal. The 26-year-old noted in the offseason that he loves life in New Orleans, but it appears as though he isn't rushing into inking a new deal to secure a bigger payday for himself. Ingram's contract value increases to a maximum extension of $334 million for five seasons if he can earn All-NBA honors this season. Considering his injury history, it's a pretty risky move. Ingram hasn't played in at least 65 games since his rookie season in 2016-17, and he's missed 67 games across the past two campaigns alone.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
