San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) was pulled from the game early on Friday, but he said he has no long-term concerns with his knee and considers himself day-to-day. Manager Bruce Bochy said it'll be hard to keep starting Belt the rest of the year if he can't make it through a full game. On top of it, Belt has just four hits in 32 at-bats (.125) this month with no homers or RBI. He seems likely to need an offseason procedure to fix the issue. There are better first base options to close out the year than Belt.--Keith Hernandez
