2 years agoOttawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk picked up three assists as the team ended a seven-game slide Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Philadelphia. He combined with Claude Giroux to help Thomas Chabot to tie the game, logged a power-play assist on an eventual game-winning goal by Alex DeBrincat, and completed his day at the office with an assist on Tim Stutzle's empty-net goal. This marks Tkachuk's second hat trick of assists in five games. Ottawa has struggled lately, but Tkachuk has been crushing it regularly and leads the team with 19 points in 14 games. He's been working incredibly well on a line with Stutzle and Giroux. The latter had two assists Saturday against his former team, becoming the fourth player in franchise history to record a point streak of eight or more games during his first season with the team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
