Brady Singer Takes The Loss On Tuesday
4 years agoKansas City Royals rookie starting pitcher Brady Singer made two costly mistakes in Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs, resulting in the first loss of his MLB career. Singer was tagged with four runs in the game, the result of a pair of two-run home runs by Jason Heyward and Jason Kipnis. Singer pitched five innings in the game, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out eight. The eight strikeouts were a season-high and he also threw a season-high 93 pitches, which is a good sign for his workload going forward. All in all, it wasn't a terrible start by any means for Singer against a tough Cubs lineup. He's still worth owning in most fantasy leagues. His next start will be another tough one against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.
