Brad Keller Thwarted By Rain
5 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller was on a roll through three innings in Cleveland, but an hour-long rain delay shut that down. Keller threw three shutout innings with four strikeouts before the rains came, and though he left with the lead, it was quickly coughed up by his replacement. Keller's strong start comes on the heels of a shellacking at the hands of the Mariners, but Keller usually lives in the mediocre-start range. He'll throw a real stinker once in a while as well as a gem from time to time, but he's mostly the epitome of a No. 3 or No. 4 starter. He'll get to face the struggling Blue Jays this weekend, and he's a decent spot start for that chance.
