11 months agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell was perfect for five innings Friday versus the Blue Jays. He would retire all 15 batters he faced, including six strikeouts. Snell was then pulled and the Rays would go on to win 7-0 with Snell earning his 13th win. Snell needed only 47 pitches to get through the outing. Snell is 13-5 with a 2.18 ERA in 2018. The hope is that Snell continues to build up his ability to go deep into games with more lenient pitch count oversight. He should be owned in most leagues as a strong option.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
