Blake Snell Doesn't Factor Into Suspended Contest
Blake Snell lasted four innings Saturday against the Washington Nationals, permitting four earned runs. The game was suspended and concluded on Sunday due to a scary shooting incident, but Snell did not factor into the 10-4 victory. After missing two turns from a stomach illness, the left-hander labored over 74 pitches, yielding six hits and four walks while striking out three. Through 74 ⅓ frames, Snell still hasn't put things together, owning a 5.21 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. With just two quality starts this season, a 29 percent strikeout rate has been the only thing saving Snell's fantasy value. The 28-year-old's next opportunity comes Thursday on the road against the Miami Marlins. He'll be a shaky SP4 in that contest.
