Bennedict Mathurin Drops 20 Points In Just 19 Minutes
Bennedict Mathurin packed the stat sheet during Tuesday's Summer League victory over Detroit, compiling 20 points across just 19 minutes of action. In addition to not committing a turnover, Mathurin added five rebounds, three assists and three steals, all while shooting 5-for-9 overall and 9-for-10 from the free-throw stripe. It was yet another strong summer showing for the sixth overall pick from the 2022 NBA Draft, who has showcased an ability to serve as a go-to offensive option on the wing. Mathurin's defensive acumen and balanced skill set on offense should both serve him well as a multi-category contributor throughout his rookie year.
