5 months agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Austin Riley is not on the roster for the National League Division Series against the Cardinals. Instead, Rafael Ortega will serve as the extra position player. The Braves will use Ortega as a left-handed bat off the bench and he won't have any fantasy appeal in the postseason. Riley finished his rookie season batting .226/.279/.471 with 18 home runs and 49 RBI in 80 games for the Braves. He started out like gangbusters after his call-up but then suffered a knee injury and hit just .161 with two of his 18 homers in 31 games in the second half. Even if Riley doesn't play in the postseason, he'll be an intriguing everyday outfielder for Atlanta in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
