Austin Meadows Hitting Just .114 In May

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows has been in the midst of a slump at the plate this month. Over 10 games in May, Meadows is slashing .114/.225/.400. He has 12 strikeouts this month, including seven strikeouts over his past 12 at-bats. On the bright side, he does have three home runs and eight RBI this month. Meadows' batting average is down to .189 on the year. He'll need to maintain his current 14% barrel rate in order to continue helping managers with power production. He's currently on pace for around 30 home runs and if he can reach that mark, it'll make his low batting average a bit easier for fantasy managers to stomach.
