6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler is kind of at the mercy of the injury gods right now, but not due to any ailments of his own. Instead, whether Ekeler starts depends on Melvin Gordon's balky hamstring. Gordon was a full participant in practice on Friday, which hints at him being able to go on Sunday, but he was a late scratch against Tennessee before the bye, so Ekeler could still be a surprise starter come Sunday morning. If Ekeler starts, the bump in usage makes him worthy of a fantasy role. If he doesn't, he's questionable in fantasy due to his limited usage and tough matchup against Seattle.
