6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler posted another incredible, yet limited, performance on Sunday. Ekeler saw limited carries as Melvin Gordon's backup once again, but as is standard, he posted a ridiculous YPC and blew plays wide open. Ekeler finished the day with just four carries for 47 yards and a long of 32 yards. Both his 11.8 YPC and long run eclipsed those posted by Melvin Gordon, and Ekeler continues to be a rainmaker when he gets his chances. He's now averaging 8.2 YPC on the season, and he has a career YPC of 6.3. Ekeler will likely continue to be used sparingly, but he'll also continue to slice defenses up when given the chance.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
