Austin Cindric and his Team Penske Ford are in a bit of an uneasy position. The playoff reset has Cindric in 12th and arguably he is in a bit of a bind for segment number two. Intermediate tracks are not quite his forte yet. However, the No. 2 Ford car does start 11th on Sunday at Texas. It is a new experience at this level for Cindric. He was slower in practice too by about a full half second and just under 185 mph. That is a little troubling especially if Texas features fewer cautions. His lap averages interval wise were 0.16 seconds off from each other which is not too bad. At least, Cindric should not lose much speed for Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
