Austin Cindric performed well but the Team Penske driver could not get into the three-wide melee on the final lap. Cindric and his Ford did wind up passing Bubba Wallace for fourth place, however. The No. 2 car led 32 laps and at times had one of the fastest cars on the 1.5-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway track. Given that Cindric started eighth on Sunday, he was able to cycle up and down the field pretty well.
