Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub has been ruled out for 3-4 weeks with a broken jaw. He was hit in the face with the puck last Friday against the Rangers and it's caused a small fracture in his jaw. Zub already sat out one game and it looks like he will miss at least 10 more. The Russian rearguard also missed some time earlier in the season with an upper-body injury and has skated in only 14 games. He's been the trusted partner of Thomas Chabot on the first defensive pairing, but Nikita Zaitsev has now taken over Zub's role. Zaitsev has played in just nine games this season, posting one assist, and it should be safe to leave him on the waiver wire.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
