Boston Red Sox veteran Aroldis Chapman secured his eighth save of the season Tuesday night, capping a 2-0 shutout win for the Red Sox. The 37-year-old flamethrower has shown no signs of slowing down in his 16th season. His average fastball velocity of 99.2 mph ranks in the 99th percentile across Major League Baseball. Chapman now holds a 1.89 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts over 19 innings. He also owns a (3-2) record, one hold, and has converted all eight save opportunities.
