Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Arik Armstead was presented with the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award at Thursday night's 2025 NFL Honors. Regarded as the highest honor in the league, the NFL Man of the Year award recognizes an athlete for his distinction on the field and exemplary community service off it. This was Armstead's fifth nomination for the award and first with the Jaguars. Additionally, he became the franchise's second recipient of the honor (Calais Campbell, 2019).
