Anthony Santander Confirms Positive COVID-19 Test
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19, which is why he wasn't in summer camp. The good news is that Santander joined the team's workouts on Tuesday, which means he could still have time to get ready for Opening Day next Friday. If healthy, he should have a starting role in Baltimore's outfield and could be a fixture in the middle of the batting order after he hit .261/.297/.476 with 20 home runs, 59 RBI and 46 runs scored in 93 games last year for the O's. The 25-year-old Venezuelan is flying under the radar in deep mixed and AL-only leagues and has some upside as a late-round pick.
