Anthony Richardson Will Start Against Dolphins
2 months agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that quarterback Anthony Richardson (oblique) will start on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. Richardson suffered an oblique injury in the Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and missed the last two games as a result. However, the 22-year-old former first-rounder practiced in full all week and has been cleared to return to action this weekend. Veteran Joe Flacco ran the offense better than Richardson in his two games as the starter, but Indy is sticking with Richardson now that he's fully healthy. The young and inexperienced signal-caller has elite rushing upside but remains incomplete as a passer and threw six interceptions and only three touchdowns in his first four games this year. Against Miami, fantasy managers should treat him as a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 in his return.
