Anthony Richardson Turns Heads At Combine
2 years agoUniversity of Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson set the QB record in the vertical jump at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday with a leap of 40.5 inches. Richardson put on a show, also breaking the record for QBs in the broad jump (10-foot-9) while also running the third-fastest 40-yard dash (4.44 seconds) of all time among signal-callers. Many scouts and analysts are all over the map when projecting where Richardson will come off the board in this year's draft, but after his performance on Saturday, it's hard not to see him being taken in the first round despite questions about his accuracy and decision-making. Ideally, the 21-year-old will go to a team where he can sit and learn for a year or two. In fantasy circles, he has some tantalizing upside as a dual-threat QB.
