Anthony Rendon Officially Done For The Season

Los Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (leg) will not return this season, according to manager Phil Nevin. The veteran third baseman has been doing baseball activities and receiving treatment at Angel Stadium but with the regular season due to end in less than 10 days, there's not enough time for him to make it back. Rendon is dealing with a fractured tibia in his right leg and should be ready to go for the start of the 2024 season. This wraps up another disappointing season for the 33-year-old in an Angels uniform. He finishes 2023 with a .240/.365/.322 triple-slash line, two home runs, 22 RBI, and two stolen bases over 146 at-bats. He's played in just 199 games out of a possible 648 over the last four years in Los Angeles.
