Anthony Davis Dominates Versus Trail Blazers
1 year agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis led the team to a 116-110 win over Portland on Sunday, dropping a game-high 30 points with 13 rebounds, six assists, and three blocks across 41 minutes of action. Davis hit half of his 20 field-goal attempts and continued his impressive job at the charity stripe with a 10-for-12 effort. With LeBron James (calf) ruled out for the contest, Davis was in a great position to perform, and he didn't let fantasy managers down. The eight-time All-Star had an injury scare last week, but he missed only one game, and a dominant 41-minute performance is proof that it wasn't a serious issue. Davis is averaging a double-double with 23.9 points and 12.0 rebounds, and he's also been the league's best shot-blocker early in the season with 3.0 swats a night.
