2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis shook off an illness Friday and posted a full line in a 120-114 loss to Sacramento with 24 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks. AD literally did everything humanly possible to save his team from another loss, but it wasn't enough, which is very telling of the Lakers' situation. He logged 34 minutes of action and had two turnovers while shooting 8-for-17 from the field and 8-for-11 at the charity stripe. Davis always likes to pop up on the injury report, which was also the case ahead of Friday's matchup, but LeBron James (groin) has fallen out of the lineup and the Lakers simply have to keep playing their second-biggest star to have a chance of turning around their season.
