New York Islanders winger Anthony Beauvillier wasted no time getting his 10th goal of the season Thursday night against Detroit, scoring just nine seconds into the game. It's the second-fastest goal scored from the start of a game in franchise history. Bryan Trottier boasts the record from 1984 with five seconds. Beauvillier also picked up an assist in a big 5-2 victory. He's now on 30 points for the season in 59 games. The 24-year-old has struggled to make noise in 2021-22, but the whole team has been bad for long stretches and it's not been easy for anyone on the roster. The situation has changed in recent weeks as the Islanders have heated up. Beauvillier is skating on the first line and has enjoyed a good run of form, notching a third of his points (10) across the last 10 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
