Anfernee Simons Ruled Out For Monday's Game
Anfernee Simons (quad) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 22-year-old is nursing a left quad contusion. The timing of the injury is unfortunate as Simons is coming off of one of his best games of the year. On Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he dropped 38 points while matching a season-high with nine three-pointers. Rookie Brandon Williams is someone well worthy of DFS consideration on Monday. He could see the first start of his NBA career in the game. He scored 21 points over 27 minutes on Saturday, going up against the same Timberwolves team he'll see on Monday. We could also see Keon Johnson, CJ Elleby or Ben McLemore take on point guard duties. All three guards should see ample playing time on Monday, though they are all mostly accustomed to playing on the wing.
